Megatron is better than Galvatron

some may know that Megatron turned into Galvatron in the US movie of The Transformers. Then those that don't, now know.

i feel that Galvatron was bastardized into something that was less equal to his original form, Megatron. Megatron was turned into a slave of a planet eating robot named Unicron, which thus turned Megatron into Galvatron. Galvatron was not as evil as Megatron because he had a master to serve. Where as Megatron was his own master and could do what ever he damn well pleased.

 

I like them both. But I will agree Megatron is still better.

Megatron is a name that conjures an image of strength. All villains would want this name (imagine Mega Vader, or Mega Sauron, or even Mega-He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named!).

Galvatron sounds like some fruit or shampoo.

Megatron is definitely better!

If you're refering to the "Formula" type racer, young_paddy1; I believe his name was Mirage.

 

Megatron looked better alright, but Leonard Nimoy did Galvatrons voice, at least for the movie.

besides, Soundwave is the coolest transformer ever.

As far as the toys go, I always coveted Shockwave.

 

Megatron's much better. It always bugged me how Megatron was a proper gun, but Galvatron was some kind of silly ray-gun...

I agree. Megatron's got a conniving look on his face. His smile is a delicious smile. He looks like he's well aware of his inate 'evilness', and loves it that way. Galvatron looks like a dope, a pawn. He might've chosen a different career path had Unicron let him...

Galvatron was cooled, but got his butt kciked by Rodimus Prime (a freakink RV truck!)in the movie and most of season 3.Come on a least Optimus turned into a freaking bad ass semi rig.

Besides Megatron was so freaking cooled that he was revived in Japan as Ultra Megatron and they had to bring Optimus prime back from the dead to shut him down. Galvatron went out like a little punk getting his butt kicked by the headmasters and buried under the ice in the arctic (or Canada depeneding on which continuity you suscribe too). how wimpy is that.

But read some of the comics, especially the tail end of the Marvel US run and the recent Armada "World's Collide" story arc, and you'll see how much Galvatron ownz.
