World War Two and the Clone Wars have so much similarities it's scary. Each has its own blood-thirsty leaders and the attempted extinction of those considered "enemies of the state".

 

^ There's a classic WW2 movie called The Dambusters, based closely on the true story of a bombing raid on Germany. GL flat out stole some of the dialog from that movie and put it into the attack on the DS1. He also studied gun camera films to compose some of the SFX shots in space battles.
