It says in the MPAA Rating thingy that there is momentary smoking in the Clone Wars movie. What? It better be a cigarra, because if one of the character pulls out a cigarette, I might just blow a circuit.

I think it's beacause of Jabba.
He's always kind of smoking in Return of the Jedi.

Could be death sticks. THough, I didn't see any. Then again, I wasn't looking for it either.

Really? I remember seeing smoke in Return of the Jedi, but I've never seen him directly smoke anything.

I hope that it's Obi-wan taking a nice drag on a cigar or something after a brilliant kill.

It also says it's rated for "mild language"...

Jabba smokes a hookah pipe in ROTJ, he most likely does so again in CW3D, since it's one of his more recognizable "in the palace" traits.

Well, yeah. As with so many SW references, "poodoo" has passed into common parlance these days [face_laugh]

The momentary smoking would be Jabba with his Hookah and the frog like creatures who chill in it. I'd like to see the clones pull an oldschool soldier thing and do the "smoke 'em if ya got 'em" but thats never gonna happen.

I can't exactly picture what the "mild language" would be, because it is SW. The most I can think of is like "death" and "kill" and stuff like that, for the people bringing their iddy biddy toddlers.

Jabba seems to be the only character that smokes anything. Otherwise, I'd say that smoking would probably not make an appearance.

Agreed, I'm thinking it's definitely Jabba doing the smoking. I can't imagine they'd just introduce a character smoking. Wouldn't really be Star Warsesque.

Maybe the clone troopers kick back with some Dagobah Gold and one of them says, "That's good (bleep)." :p

I never even noticed that Jabba was smoking that thing in ROTJ. Thanx for pointing that out.
Well then it's gotta be him again in TCW.
As for mild language? Any guesses are good at this point. We'll have to listen very closely.

Well, I it could be something like "hell" or some of the slang terms they use in the Star Wars universe like "kriffing" or something. Here list of slang terms in Star Wars. Could be some of those. Though, I am just guessing here.

As long as "Wizard" is not used, I'm happy.

"That was Wizard!", I think it's time little Ani gave that up.

    Another possibility is Dannik Jerriko.

Or as part of his meeting with Jabba, Obi-Wan has to take a smoke from Jabbas hookah to show solidarity or a bit like shaking hands on the deal?

Probably a more likely reason for "momentary smoking" I can't see them giving it that for the a semi-minor character smoking but a main character kids are supposed to admire......

Would you classify Jabba as a "minor" character? I guess you could, but he seems to be pretty essential to the plot.

Yes it is...so what exactly does that mean you would classify him as?

I'm bothered that all these years later from 1977, SW has to get this label. What a joke. Society lately.

There was a bar in ANH, death sticks in AotC. Unreal. If there's a soldier or whoever taking a cigarette drag, um, so?
