Mini Series Mother Koril (spoilers)

After episode 7 seems even more likely that she is a Sith agent.

Maybe she will reappear during a meeting at the end of the first season, where Sith master will ask his underlings (including anti-Jedi senator) about their recent achievements regarding taking over the galaxy.

 

If we didn't see a body, then we don't know.

Some speculate that she saved Mae from her fall, but that begs the question of why we haven't seen her since. Perhaps she stayed on the planet with Mae and raised her until a certain Sith Apprentice showed up...

 

There was a scene way back in EP 1, where Osha has a dream/vision of Mae. They're running through the woods, the fire starts and then Mae's eyes turn all black, and she admits that she killed the Jedi, and will kill them all.

I wonder if that hints towards Koril possessing Mae are various times.

But that would be a lot of story to fit into a final episode, even if it were setting it up for S2.

 

Koril was always the most likely to be involved.

 

I think Koril will end up being the Sith master, but I'm not sure why she wouldn't just let Mae know she's alive if that's the case. Why take Quimir on as an apprentice instead of Mae?

Sounds like maybe Mother Koril joins the Nightsisters. Could Mother Koril be Mother Talzin f om Clone Wars and mother to Darth Maul ?

 

Is Mother Talzin also literally Maul's mother? I was going to suggest Koril might be Maul's mom.

 

Yes Mother Talzin is Maul's mother. The Clone Wars comic that is between season 5 and season 7 deals with Maul and his mom.

Koril could still be Maul's mother or grandmother. Maybe she gives Birth to mother Talzin. Mother Talzin is a Dathomirian zabrack female witch.

 

I'd be shocked if there isn't a connection. First, everything is connected in SW.

Second, this actually would explain some of Maul's motivation, possibly.

Koril brings the Nightbrothers to Dathomir somehow. Maybe that's why it was mentioned that Nightsisters don't raise younglings, despite later stories referring to children on Dathomir, like Merrin.

 

We know the Nightsisters are a long time on Dathomir so Koril would just go to Dathomir.

 

I know. I said Nightbrothers, who seem to be an entirely separate species from the Nightsisters.

 

In canon they all same species. Just Dathomirian zabrack.

So now we know Koril wont appear in the finale. So a season 2 tease. We see her next on Dathomir with The Nightsisters and she is will be revealed as Mother Talzins mother and Maul's grandmother.
