[Movie Thread] The Rural Juror

I just heard on the grapevine that they're adapting the Kevin Grisham novel The Rural Juror to the big screen. I've always been a big fan of Kevins books, so I'm pretty excited about this.

Has anyone else heard anything about this?

 

I gave up on the Grishams after John.

 

I hope they adapt the sequel, Urban Fervor.

 

I heard that Jenna Maroney is going to star in it. I'm skeptical, because I don't know if she has the necessary dramatic skills.

 

I think she has potential. I mean, she did study voice at Northwestern University, not to mention co-starring in TGS with Tracy Jordan.

 

I heard that her father Werner was a burger server in suburban Santa Barbara, when he spurned your mother Verna for a curly-haired surfer named Roberta. I wonder...did that hurt her?

 

I always wondered what she was saying there.

 

What's this thread title? The Rurjur? What does that even mean?
