    Thanks!
Ive been drawing in Flash for a longo time. But its usually been just drawing, then scanning, then tracing and all.
But these I actually started out doing quick sketches on Flash and they came out kool, heh...

    Its gonna be hard when I start adding sound to the stuff... (>_>);

    Hey your stuff looks good!

I have a little fan site that I make SW flash cartoons on as well: Star Wars Spoofs. Let me know if you need any advice or help figuring stuff out. Oh, and as cool as the background looks on that clone trooper animation, I'd stay away from using .jpg images. They can slow down the animation and definitely add a lot of file size to your end movie.

Dude, that site is awesome! :D
Thats the kinda stuff Id like to learn how to do!

I would really appreciate some help with a lot of the stuff! Because, I have this idea for a cartoon, but Flash is all convusing and such...
The thing is, I dont have one of those drawing pads that you do, I drew these guys totally on the comp as just sketches and such...

But if you wanted to help, thatd be awesome, all my contact info is in my profile. Thanks again!

That's pretty cool, especially since you said you couldn't really do it last week.

Looking forward to seeing your cartoon - or do you prefer the term animation piece?

glad you guys like the spoof cartoons.

Flash can be really annoying when your learning it, and even after you've learned it, you can still run into bugs and odd things to work around. I've got over 3 years of using flash and have figured out most of the quirks. (But I'm horrible at action scripting! Cartooning is my main arena of choice!)

As far as the drawing tablet goes, I highly recommend it. In the begining, I hated it. Found the surface too smooth compared to paper. So I taped a piece of paper on it, but then the pen didn't glide, but rather scratched the paper and felt rough. I took the paper off, and after lots of practice just got used to drawing with it. It is a bit different to draw with when you are cleaning up a drawing. Requires a certain touch/trick to it.

Nice work, I have done a few myself and I know the learning curve can be a real hard run but it's worth the trip. You have great style as mentioned already, can't wait to see more. :)

Sorry, don't feel like typing the automatic link code.

I drew everything in CorelDraw, then pasted it into Flash. I always found Flash a pain to draw in--don't like the way it handles objects & properties, and the gradient tool is too restrictive. But that's me.

Erm, that's nifty, Koohii, but you're kinda hijacking someone else's thread. Why not start a new one? :)

Hijacking wasn't my intention: just showing a different way to accomplish something.
