My mom told me I looked like Avril Lavigne today.

It's FREEZING in my school, so I wore my new jacket. It's green, and it's just a jacket. It's too big, because I have super long monkey arms.

Upon seeing the jacket, my mom says (in a really awful Valley Girl* accent, imitating a girl in my journalism class who I doubt will be fun to work with) "OHMIGAWD, what a GREAT jacket! It makes you look like Avril Lavigne!"
Me: "Nooo don't tell me that!"
Mom: "But she's so PRETTY!"
Me: "I'd rather look like someone really ugly whose music is awesome, than someone pretty whose music is terrible."
Dad: "You'd rather look like Frank Zappa?!"

Of course I would.
