It's not the Naboo alphabet, it's Aurebesh, the alphabet of the Star Wars universe. If you notice, it's in Luke's X-Wing in the OT and on Coruscant in AOTC.

    You guys lost me.

Are you both talking about the print that appears on Luke's screen when R2 talks to him while he's flying off to Yoda? (In Empire)

Yep, the same print appears in both Anakin's N-1 Starfighter as well as Luke's X-Wing ... both of which are on the screen when R2 talks to him.

No, sorry. I think that it is based on ovals though, so this is probably one letter- 0

Naboo has two alphabets, Futhark Runen and Futhork Runen. Futhork is a formal alphabet based on ovals, Futhark is al less formal alphabet, used for handwriting.

    This is the Basic Aurabesh:

    Futhork:

    Futhark

I cannot find complete alphabets of the Naboo, but if I do, I'll post them...

    Thanks, Master Kenobi.
So Futhark is for writing and Futhork
is for, like a public sign or a ship´s computer?
I remember that in " TPM visual dictionary"
there is a picture of a Naboo pilot helmet
with a name on. I think it´s pretty fat letters, so that would be Futhark, right?

Btw, now i know the text to the left on the banner says;Captain tarpals. :)

    "who are Aurebesh?"

    See Master ousley´s answer.
    It´s the alphabet of "Basic",
the most common language in the galaxy.

"...But it keeps me up at night..."

    LOL.

    Isn't "futhark" Norse runes?

By "futhark", I don't mean the alphabet in the picture above, I mean the actual term.

It was originally introduced way back in the original trilogy circa The Empire Strikes Back, but then refined in later years for the prequels.

It's essentially the same language either way, though.
