My SW group will be infiltrating a Nebulan-B Escort Frigate next time we play. I have several questions for anyone who can help me.

First, the stats on the Nebulan-B shows that it contains 2 squadrons (24) TIE fighers, yet I dont see exactly where on the ship they are stored and launched from. Luke's medical "window" from ESB is the only real passage from inside to outside the ship. Where exactly is the launch bay?

Secondly, if anyone knows where I could find detailed floorpans of the inner structure of the Nebulan-B (in terms of grid floorspace) then please post a link here.

Check out the Starships of the Galaxy WOTC sourcebook, it has several generic floorplan diagrams that would appear on a number of ships. It also features a profile view of a Nebulon-B that points out the location of certain structural and functional areas of the ship. The Medical frigate as seen in ESB is a modified escort frigate, and the standard versions have a hangar bay on the starboard side forward hull that is about half the length of the forward hull. The hangar facilities no doubt take up a major portion of that forward hull, with command and communications decks in the lower areas of the ship on that vertical 'spine'. At least some of the TIE Fighters no doubt would have to be stored on racks, as there is simply not enough deck space on the standard escort frigates to fit two dozen fighters without stacking them in some way.

I agree with you on the "standard" vs. "modified" escort frigates. The only known pictures I have of the Nebulan-B Escort Frigate are those of the medical frigate from ESB and ROTJ. I need to find actual information and pictures of the stand factory version of a Nebulan-B. Spaceconsiderations are baffling me: Crew Complement (Min 307, Max 920), Passenger listing (75 troops), fighter squadron makeup (24 TIE). By my calculations of possible floorspace and pure volume of the ship, they are packed in there like sardines if in fact they fit at all. I see no way that 920 personel can be squeezed into the Escort Frigate.

I believe a supplement called "The Far Orbit Project" (West Ends Games), has at least cursory deck plans of a Nebulon B.

The closest you will probably come to good images of the standard escort frigate is from the X-wing Alliance computer model...

If that hangar can be considered accurate, then it runs the entire width of the forward hull on those decks, and presumably any support facilities would be either forward or aft of its position, or perhaps there are retractable deck platforms to extra storage above or below. In any case it means the majority of the forward hull is devoted to hangar facilities. The space occupied by the hangar facilities no doubt is filled with most if not all of the medical rooms and equipment in the modified Rebel Medical Frigate.

Thanks for displaying the picture of the unmodified Nebulan-B Escort Frigate. The pic will help me a lot when I create my estimation of the layout of the floorpans.

Can anyone provide a link to a page that contains any floorpans to ships at all? I found a page with the Correlian Corvette, but I would really like several other floorplans.
