Need help with malfuctioning Master Replicas Force FX lightsaber

    My brother has the Obi-Wan Force FX lightsaber from Master Replicas. The blade is not lighting up, but the sound still works. It was fully functional a couple months ago and has been mounted on the wall since then. Does anyone know how to find out what the problem is or where I can get replacement parts?

    The connection to the string LEDs could have been broke. It is a somewhat of a problem with those MR lightsabers. I broke a couple of the LEDs in my MR ROTJ Luke saber due to some light duelling.

    There are conversion kits out there that you can get that can replace those blades, making them brighter as well as having removeable blades, if that were so desired. I would google "conversion kits for MR Obi-Wan lightsaber", and go from there.

    Depending upon from where and when he bought it, you may be able to contact Hasbro directly for a return merchandise authorization exchange.
    I had just purchased a Ventress from a 3rd party seller whose "warranty" period was only 5 days because they are a collectibles / toys seller. Within 2-3 weeks a bulb went bad in the blade from very light use.
    With no recourse from the seller, I wrote to Hasbro and explained everything.
    They sent me a UPS prepaid label to return it to them for an exchange, with the caveat that if there were no exact items in the warehouse they reserved the right to exchange my item for another of equal value (perhaps not the same saber). They did originally send me a Yoda, but agreed to exchange that for a different more appropriate saber. Within 2 days of returning the Yoda, a new Ventress appeared.
