Need info on Jagged Fel

Okay. I'm writing a 'fic with Jag in it, as one of two main characters, and I don't know much about the boy (boy 'cause I'm older than him). What exactly do we know about him? Home planet? Siblings' names? So on and so forth. I know of two sibs' names, Davin and Cherith, but I apparently haven't read his first appearance. What book was that in?

His first apperance was in Onslaught or Ruin. He only had a few lines and about 3 pages worth of spot light time.

He was probably born on Nirauan, where his mother and father had been hiding for a few years. If not there, than some other planet that Syal hid out on while fleeing the Empire.

 

Actually, I read that he was from Kaminos and was a failed clone of Kyp.

All of his sibilings are dead. That I know of. It states it in DJ when he is talking to his father.

Fel, Jagged
this ruggedly handsome young man was revealed to be the son of Baron Soontir Fel and Syal Antilles, during the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy. He was distinguished by his pale green eyes and a scar which started above his right eye and ran over his skull. The hair over the scar was white, contrasting with rest of his jet-black hair.Jagged grew up among the Chiss, being accepted by them ass one of their own, and he strove to ensure that he met their lofty expectations. At the Battle of Garqi, Fel and his Spike Squadron of Chiss were part of the fleet assembled by Admiral Pellaeon to support the New Republic. Their incredible skill helped turn back the Yuuzhan Vong forces. At the time, he held the rank of Colonel. When the battle group reported back to the New Republic leadership, Jagged Fel was asked by his uncle, Wedge Antilles, to accompany them. Spike Force later assisted the New Republic at the Battle of Ithor. In the wake of the battle, Fel sent two squadrons of Chiss pilots back to report on the Yuuzhan Vong to his father, while Jagged himself remained behind as a liaison to Rogue Squadron. Jagged later returned to the Chiss at his father's summons, where he agreed to lead a small team to scout out the Yuuzhan Vong's utilization of Ithor and other planets. Soontir hoped that his son could find information useful to the Republic, to keep it from fracturing after the loss of Coruscant. He spent a good deal of time on Hapes with Jaina Solo, where the two discovered that old attractions still remained. Shortly after the Battle of Coruscant, Jagged agreed to remain on Borleias with his uncle, General Wedge Antilles, and the small group of officers and soldiers who came together to form the Inner Circle. Jag later joined the Twin Suns Squadron, after Luke Skywalker turned control of the squadron over to Jaina Solo. It was duringt his period of Borleias that Jag realized he felt something very deep for Jaina, a feeling which was reciprocated as much as possible during her portrayal as the Yuuzhan Vong goddess Yun-Harla.

 

Jag is a better natural pilot than anyone except Han. If he was force aided he would be kickin all the Jedi's butt.

 

Okay. I just reread the scene w/ Jag and his dad. Davin and Cherith appear to be older, because he says he's sending out his third child.

This is just hypothetical, but how do you guys think Jag would react if, say, he married a Jedi and she then went to the dark side. As in Darth Vader turned-to-the-Dark-Side. ????

i'm pretty sure cherith is younger coz in one of the books (ruin, i think) jag said that he had lost and older brother and a younger sister. it's just that their names weren't given until dark journey

I haven't been able to read Ruin yet. My library FINALLY (after what, two years?) got the book in, just after my hold on the Sith spawned thing expired, and now I'm, like, 5th in line to read it. I hate my library . . .

Okay. So, Davin, Jag, Cherith, and two unnamed sibs.

Do either Syal or Soontir have green eyes? They were in at least one of the X-Wing books, weren't they?

According to your file you're twnety. But that doesn't mean a thing considering the fact that we have folks who put down fake birthdates so their file reads that their over a hundred, or are even a year from being born (someone got smart and put their birthdate down as a year that hadn't come yet so that their age was listed as -1).

Anyways, correct me if I'm wrong, but was Jag introduced as being 21? that was about two years before Rebel Stand, which would make him 22-23 in EL:RS.

 

Well, in RD, when Wedge and Jag were talking, it's established that he's 20.

EDIT: Okay, so it's 21 in what, 20 days? Still doesn't mean Jag's older than me. Of course, considering that this takes place along time ago, he's considerably older than me. By a long time.

Read Rebel Stand. Read Wedge's scenes. Say that again.

 

Hasn't it been said a couple of times that Wedge is officially the galaxy's best pilot?

I'm pretty sure Jag is the 2nd kid. When Soontir mentions something about his 3rd kid, it's along the lines of "this might be the 3rd time i'm sending one of my kids to their deaths".
