Hey I just realized there was no football discussion thread on the Rhode Squadron boards.

Well this thread is starting out on week 6 of the season. The New England Patriots have won their NFL record 20th consecutive game. The final score was New England 30 and Seattle 20.

The New England Patriots are now 5 wins and no losses on the season.

Next week they are playing the New York Jets who are also 5-0 but the Jets do have an easy schedule.

I too also like the Giants.
But this week was a bye week for them.
Next week they play the Detroit Lions who are playing alot better than the last few seasons. So it should be a good game also.

I hope you all will post even if your favorite team isn't the Patriots and great football talk can be found here.

I will try and post all the standings and scores every week and keep this thread a good source for your NFL information. Also I hope others will keep it updated too.

Now why would anyone want to talk about the Patriots? Clearly, everyone would much rather talk about those lovable sea mammals to the south, The Miami Dolphins. They are currently 0-6 but looking to start a 10 game winning streak of their own. Go Dolphins! :)

Hey looks like the Dolphins might win a game today!!
You got to be happy with the fish Ed.
Gary won't be happy with that though St.Louis is his team.

Giants just lost to the Lions :(

    Next up Pats and Jets.

Maybe we should start a MLB thread. :p

Well haven't updated here in awhile.

Patriots will be hosting the Indianapolis Colts at Foxboro next Sunday at 4:30.

It will be a challenge but the Patriots should be victorious. :)

Manning has had a great season but it will end here.
