Next Freddy FF meeting

We should probably start thinking about the next meeting.
I'd like to suggest a Saturday (16th or 23rd), but if an evening works better for most people, I'm okay with that.
We'll be able to use one of the rooms on the UNB campus where it'll be quieter with better seating arrangements.
Preferences and suggestions? Location, date, time, activity (example: A game of Star Wars Trivial Pursuit.)

Okay, its getting a bit late to have one on the 16th, so lets make it Saturday the 23rd.
Things I'd like to bring up at the meeting.

1. Poster ideas for advertising (8.5 x 11 size)
2. Banner art for our forum
3. Thoughts on a web site
4. Discussion of a meeting/activity schedule that works for everyone.
5. Get input from everyone on what activities are wanted (eg game night, movie night...)
6. Anything else anybody wants to ask/suggest.

I could go in the evening since I reserve the daytime for studying and working on essays.

 

Ryan and I are both pretty sure we're clear for the 23rd.

He really needs to get back on here and start speaking for himself, lol...

The quasi-FSFS Halloween party is still on for tomorrow (17th), and the hostess has repeated her invitation to FF members.

As far as I know I should be able to make it down next Saturday. Sounds like a plan to me.

 

I will be there the 23rd i can't go to fsfs because i have a seminar tonight.

A games night could be very awsome, SW trivial pursuit is amazing, or sw monopoly.

 

I wasn't able to make it to the party due to studying for my political science exam. But I will be there on the 23rd, nothing to study for whatever then.

 

Toys R Us doesn't have any SW Trivial Pursuit. Can anyone bring one, or suggest a different game?
As for the party, it went well but only about half the people actually did a costume, and mine was a bit weak in places.
Good choice DB, studying is important, and being able to put that ahead of leisure takes a lot of will power.

Well, Derek has Star Wars monopoly. I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I borrowed it.

EDIT, ok I was wrong, he says no. But I can probably bring mine. Mine's better anyway.

 

If I could get hold of the right equipment, we could have a showing of some fan films.
A laptop with Quicktime, Macromedia Flash player etc... and an LCD projector.
The screen is a permanent fixture in the room.

 

I may or may not be there. I'm unsure at this point in time. Gotta love it when Darth Real Life catches up with ya. Hopefully I'll be able to let you know soon one way or the other.

Well, now the bad news just keeps on a comin' because now it looks as if I won't be able to make it to Freddy this Saturday either. My car, who has been quite reliable in the past, has decided this is the week it's gonna refuse to work!!! There is something wrong with the engine! GERRRR!!!! Just my luck! So, needless to say I've had quite the interesting day today.

 

Sorry to hear you're having car troubles.
My wife's car is due for some major work this week as well, so I really do feel your pain.

Oh yes, please bring the game. I'd estimate there's 20 or 30 minutes of video, so its not alot.
PM your address to me and I can drive you to and from.

No problem there, lots of people, they just don't post here. Some FSFS, plus a few others getting scooped up along the way. Lots of room for more though, GA_Stan and DT have been there and know its quite a big room.

I PM'd the details to Mike, but haven't seen an announcement go up. Not sure what's going on there, but this is still an official meeting.

D_Q - If the videos are well received, we can show them again at another meeting. You'll get to see them sometime.
