Speculation Nightsisters and Dathomir

Would anyone else like to see them in live action? I really dig the ninja look they have in the Clone Wars series and Mother Talzin/Concept Sith Witch is creepy as hell. They do fit the bill of force using villains who aren't Sith Lords which would keep the story fresh.

Even having Dathomir appear in one of the films in a Dagobah role would be pretty cool.

Dathomir would be cool, I always found it an interesting planet since I first discovered it on SWG. Would be nice to see the Nightsisters, but I've never watched TCW, not sure how they are portrayed in that. I don't know about them being the main villains though.

It would be a good location for a trial or something for the main Jedi hero (probably Han/Leia's child) to progress to knighthood, but have them fail it.

 

A force witch would be a cool new concept. It'd definitely be something different.

They're ok, but in my view certainly not main villain material.
Their TCW moments are great, and hope to see more of them but I don't see them having any role in ST.

And think they should end the Night SIsters.. cuz if they keep on meddling, it will water them down like Grevious.

 

I have to chime in again: they should steer way clear of all the surreal, deeply mythological, blatantly symbolic elements of TCW. Why court controversy? We know that rank n files hate this stuff.

My dream is that by 2015 the hardcore "bashers" will be happily basking in the light of Ep VII and they just let us fans have the PT & TCW and leave us alone. Just give them what they want, I say, and let us keep what we have.

 

I strongly, strongly prefer their portrayal in The Courtship of Princess Leia. I really have not enjoyed how they were portrayed in TCW. So, no, I don't want to see them in the ST. There's no chance that, if they did appear there, they'd be like the Courtship versions.

 

Nightsisters are certainly "new" compared to Sith.

 

They're totally fun, morally-gray characters in TCW, but I would dread seeing the green, vapory magic in a movie.

 

I meant new as in something that has not been covered in more detail in any of the EU releases.

 

Of course, but why don't you tell that to everyone who's talking about introducing more Sith?

 

darklordoftech oh trust me I will hahah It would really be a shame to waste the opportunity of a fresh start on tossing in more Sith. Besides obviously putting in question the value of Vader's sacrifice, it would be a bit...more of the same.

Sith are cool, but it's a huge galaxy, there is a load of room to create new stuff without diminishing the value of existing content.

 

I may be misinterpreting this post, but are you aware that the idea of the Nightsisters is almost 20 years old? The Courtship of Princess Leia introduced them in early 1995. Excellent book. As I said above, if the Nightsisters do make an appearance, I'd rather they be in their Courtship form... but, of course, that won't happen since TCW has a different take on them and is more recent.

Either form is ok to me, what I was trying to say is that they should do something new for the movies, not reuse something that has already been covered before - Nightsisters already being covered in both the book and now TCW
