Well you've probably heard of this anyway but see how far you can get.

Supposedly only six people have finished it! It's bloody hard i've only managed to get to level six but I simply haven't the time to sit and think about it at the moment so it's your turn. Get as far as you can and then lets see if we can finish it as a forum, and no cheating!

The route from level 3 to level 4 was to overtype the URL changing false to true

 

I used to play this about a year ago, got to level 16 or something, but then I got totally stuck. Can't really remember what I did to get that far, I just remember it took me AGES...

 

Blimey Enji , it would take me aaaaaaaaages to get that far (if indeed I was clever enough to get that far which I doubt I am )

I've got a little way with this next one, i've opened up the source code for the page but know little about what I'm looking for so I'll need to get clued up before I proceed, I think you need to some ASCII to translate!

Okay i'm just stuck

 

I'm stuck on level 4.

I click on the disk thing and it asks for my username and password, but no matter what I put in it won't work.

 

It always takes twice to get through the password boxes on my browser (IE7), use the right password and username twice, not sure if it's case sensitive but I always use lower case.

 

How do you get the username? I know the password is voodoopower.

 

Use the first part of the word as the username and the second as the password.

 

AHHHHH!

Now I'm stuck on 5, great.

btw, y'know once you get to level 36 you have to start paying $1 for every level you complete. At least that's what I heard.

 

I'm not paying that!

Though somehow I doubt I'll ever get that far.

Right this was long and drawn out but here it is, in the page title it says the 'the source might help' so open up the source code and have a look around and you'll find the end of a website address, edit the level address with the one you've found and it leads to a new page, highlight and you'll find some numbers. This is where I got stuck before but after looking over the source code it has 'use ASCII as an alternative' so get a ASCII table and convert the numbers...which make no sense after yet MORE time I realised you have to rearrange (use an ALTernative?) the letters to username kill and password hour.

 

Answer to level 7.

In the source are two clues, the first something about things changing in germany, the second is what kind of candy is it.

Look carefully at the bar and you'll see it is a twix, a search on that tells you that in Germany it was called a raider bar.

In the URL is backwards spelt backwards (thanks Red Dwarf)/whatisit(also spelt backwards) replace tisitahw with rediar and you're through to:http://deathball.net/notpron/sdrawkcab/rediar.htm
