right are ntl starting to pull a fast one?

cause i have a dial-up program and set it so it only connects at 47000bps but hardly ever connects now! but when i use normal dial-up in windows it connects but at $hit slow speeds of 37000bps.

have they taken all the normal speed modems at their end offline, so it looks like broadband is even better.

cause as of the start of next year every one on ntl with dial-up is going to have to pay £10 a month and if the service and modem speed is this peee poor iam not going to pay it.

    what does chasis know?

Only with ntl cause it had (not HAD) free net and as we only pay £3 a month for analogue tv (inc sky 1) it was a right bargain. still ok price wise at £5 a month but now its going up to £10
its like "get the coat mama we are jumping from the train"

Average speed is ever decreasing in towns in a car so it is with internet. Afraid we live in an old antiquated country. Broadband will suffer same fate as 56k when everyone is on it. Too many people. What we need is a war!!!
