Obi-Wan and Ventress. What is between them?

I´ve read some Republic comics where Obi-Wan Kenobi and Asajj Ventress have interaction and wondered what is between them. Why Obi-Wan lets her go and doesn´t kill her. And why Ventress is so hellbent to get Obi-Wan imprisoned, but doesn´t 'want' to kill him? Is it possible that Asajj has a slight crush for Obi or vice versa?

I think they both respect each other and maybe they do have a crush on each other, I think Ventress wants to convert Obi Wan rather thne kill him.

This is a topic that has been going on for a while, and alot of questions have been raised on what the heck Ventress was doing to poor Obi-Wan...

Obiwan have a crush on Asajj Ventress? Hardly.In The Cestus Deception,while he was talking to one of the clones,Obiwan made a subtle remembrance of a girl he met on Melina/Dan when he was still a youg apprentice to QuiGon.It's in Jedi Apprentice novels.I forgot which.I'll check my files.

Yes!That's the one.She almost cost Obiwan his chances for knighthood.But he does feel something for her.well,you know,attachments' not allowed.

 

Also, the book "Secrets of the Jedi" has a nice piece on Siri Tachi & Obi-Wan. But there does seem to be a lot of build up in the writing between Obi-Wan & Ventress. I'm not sure how much you've read, but it starts in The Cestus Deception, and is continuing in the Obsession comics. #5 is coming out next week, and should add to the intrigue...

I think it's pretty clear that ventress totaly wants him. I think cestus deception really gave that impression.

Can anyone tell me who between Anakin ana Asajj Ventress won and how Anakin got the scar?I missed seeing Volume I,though I wish they'll show it again on Cartoon Network.

Roguegirl, "Secrets of the Jedi" makes it seem like Obi-Wan had a thing for Siri since adolescence, and it resurfaces later when they cross paths. I'm not a big fan of Jude Watson, and the way she writes Obi-Wan, and since it is a children's book (why would they address this subject in a children's book?!), the depth of the story is very limited. But it is kind of sweet. I prefer the Ventress storyline...she's the feisty type

Small Ventress/Anakin storyline spoilers



Anakin & Ventress have been at it several times in the cartoons, comics, and novels, and it's gone back and forth, so I score it as a draw. Ventress fans would probably say she owned him (1 scar to zero...), and Anakin fans, well you know...he rules the galaxy, and all that. But she gave him that scar on Coruscant,IIRC. There has been a lot of effort to give her some blatantly suggestive dialogue, especially in the comics, and her images in the comics are gorgeous, not at all like she looked in the cartoons. The final issue of Obsession, #5, comes out Wednesday, and should answer this thread's question, unless we're left hanging post-EPIII...I have a baaad feeling about this!

 

Interesting.Will Asajj Ventress be included in EP3?I wonder.

 

As much as I'd love to see it, I don't think we'll see her physically. I'd love to see a reference to her, though, even if it's just in the dialogue between Anakin & Obi-Wan.
