You know when Obi-wan was one Borad the Federation ship he Said I have a Bad feeling about this and its not about the mission its something Elsewhere and Elusive. It could mean that there is a Sith Master behind this Invasion and he did not know.

Ten years later Dooku told Obi-wan that Viceroy was once was in league with this Darth Sidous but was Betrayed ten years ago.

Bascally the Beggining of the Phantom Menace connects what Dooku was saying to Obi-wan about How the Viceroy was in League and Obi-wan felt that there something wrong and Disturbing in the Force, the Darkside was being part of the invasion of Naboo when he was Qui-gon Padawean.

Do you guys feel that Connection?

Definately. That's why Obi-Wan's eyes sharpen as Dooku tells him this in AOTC. Seems like he's trying not to show it, but Obi-Wan's realizing what Dooku's saying is probably true.

Yes, the disturbance in the Force definetly had something to do with Darth Sidious. Even when they were on Tatooine, Qui-Gon himself felt a disturbance in the Force and Obi-Wan acknowledged that he felt it also.

I also agree. Obi-Wan vaguely sensed Sidious' involvement in the trade dispute and he probably understood in AOTC that that was it.
The disturbance on Tatooine was no doubt caused by Anakin, though.

I believe it was much deeper then that.

I think if you were force sensitive, you'd realize you were just days away from finding the chosen one of the force.

What I find odd is that neither Obi-Wan nor Qui-Gon sense anything bad about the mission yet they are only a few minutes away from being attacked by droids.

So yeah, Obi-Wan's 'bad feeling' has to do with the larger picture. This blockade is the beginning of a chain of events that will lead to the fall of the Republic: this is Obi-Wan sensing the "phantom menace"- Palpatine's election as Supreme Chancellor and the discovery of the boy who would be Vader.

WAR! Indeed and that's why Quigon states that Obi-wan was a much wiser man than he was.

As soon as Nute and gang found out it was Jedi they were dealing with, Qui-Gon started to sense their fear.
