    Hey everyone..
I started on this costume awhile back, but all my nearby stores ran out of the material I needed. Since then I have sort of given up on finishing the costume because I've been so busy and involved with everything else going on.

I'm thinking about finalizing it for eBay presentation. Does anyone have any ideas as to where to find the right accessories to finish this? It's pretty much an Obi-Wan Costume, but with extending tabbards in the back (like Qui-Gon). I need fabric for the sash, and affording the belt and boots have been diificult. I also have no innter tunic, it was just a stand in for the moment, so I need to create one.

The cloth belt needs to be the same colro as the outer tunic.

need utility belt, pants, boots and get that kid to start growing a beard immediately. HAHA! :)

Great looking outer tunic though! Best of luck getting the rest together. I'm sure it'll turn out good!

Overall, I think the costume is looking good. The one thing that jumps out at me is the sheer-ness of the outer tunic. I guess it just looks like the costume isn't heavy enough (if that makes sense). From the picture of the costume on the hanger, it looks like you have facing around the collar and behind the tabbards already, but if it's not too much work I'd suggest lining the whole thing. You can see the lining of the actual costume really well in this pic. Good luck, and if you don't mind me asking, where did you get that fabric?

That?s a good Jedi costume. However, if it?s supposed to be an Obi-Wan costume, it?s not quite right. As others have already mentioned, the colors are not right. The lightsaber you?re holding looks like Anakin?s instead of Obi-Wan?s. It just depends on how ?screen accurate? you want it to be. I personally did not want to have to deal with all that kind of stuff so I made a unique Dark Jedi costume.

Yeah, the general idea here is Obi-Wan, but I'm not replicating his costume.

I went with colors close to his, but it's mainly a generic Jedi kind of outfit.
Any ideas on what to line the outer tunic with? Just to give it a more heavier appearance at least.
And also to mention, this costume is not finished, so that was a stand in sash, a stand in lightsaber, etc.

I think it should be fuller two, it looks a little thin.

I agree, the tunic is a bit too see-through. Adding some interfacing should help though.

As for boots, check out this place: www.easterncoastcostume.com
It's where I got mine, and for only $36.00 or so, they're not a bad substitute until I can afford a higher quality pair.

    Good luck!
