Info SW Obi-wan Kenobi's Lightsaber

What happened to his lightsaber after the Darth Vader Death Star fight? Afaik, there has been no mention of it. I would like to think Vader had it with him when he was ejected further into space in the 1st film, and he stored it somewhere.

Now years later, it falls into the wrong hands and must be retrieved by the Jedi before they can do more harm.

the bigger question is where did his Obi Robi go. Ben’s clothes vanish but his outer most robe drops to the floor with the lightsaber,

 

I would assume Vader took it and possessed it. However, I imagine it was destroyed when his Super Star Destroyer crashed into the Death Star II:

I am curious about this as well. I asked ChatGPT the same question a few times and got different answers each time. If it was left on the Death Star, then perhaps we can assume it's somewhere in space and Disney will produce a 13 episode mini-series about it.
