What's everyones favorite Anakin line?

I have a few that I personally like...

"I've learned this lesson before." (Cut from movie)

"I killed them all."

"PUT THE SHIP DOWN."

What do you guys think?

Well I am a slow learner.

Actually I can't pick just one- I love all his lines. I love the Anakin character- so tormented, arrogant from being given the burdon of being something great. He's a lot like modern retellings of Mordred in the King Arthur tales. Completely conflicted, doesn't want to believe in his destiny, but still ends up self distructing.

 

"I killed them all. Not just the men, but the women and children"

It shows the rage that is inside him, and that his attachment to people will be his downfall.

 

"I HATE THEM!!"

Hayden Christensen, best Anakin....ever

 

"Jedi business, go back to your drinks."

"Who hired you? Tell us... TELL US NOW!"

"Obi-Wan is going to kill me."

It's the first evidence of Anakin's inability to control his emotions.

I know it's corny, but it's said so damn sincerely...Works for me.

Loved it since the trailer, and the confession scene is so powerful, it just adds to it.

Alright -- the entire confession. The political discussion with Padme (just because it jives with Vader so well). His little discussion about Jedi being ordered to love on the transport...And...


Ah. Can't pick one.

 

mine favourite anakin line - "My heart is beating, hoping this kiss will not become a scar." (this spout lines wouldn't have been out of place in Titanic!)

 

...but I am growing up, you said it yourself.

 

Oh yeah... that reminds me of another of my favorite lines:

"Compassion, which I would consider to be unconditional love, is essential to a Jedi's life. So, you could say that we are encouraged to love." (more or less this is what he says)

And people say there isn't any good writing in this movie. I love this line as much as Obi-Wan's "Dreams pass in time."

This is also one of the moments in the movie where you can see Christensens superb acting ability... I do hope Lucas allows him to break the "straight" form in Episode 3... for those of you who have never seen his other work... the guy is a fantastic actor.

I loved loved loved the character

"Dont worry, I can sense everything going on in that room"

"Sorry master, I forgot you dont like flying"

THE WHOLE CONFESSION

"I miss you....SO MUCH!"

"Dont worry, we transmitted it just as your requested master. And then we decided to come and rescue you"

 

This is almost as difficult as trying to find a single favorite Vader line.

I have to go with the: "I...I killed them. I killed them all. They're dead. Every single one of them. And not just the men...but the women, and the children. They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals. I hate them!"

Way too many lines to choose from. This, however, is my favorite scene, and it is the one that still brings the biggest chill to my spine after 9 viewings.

 

Toooo many. But here are some that most have already mentioned:

I love all this- stupid Roger Ebert's biggest complaint was "there wasn't one memorable line of dialogue in the whole film." WRONG!!!

"I will even learn to stop people from dying"

"I wasn't strong enough for you Mom, but I promise you, I will not fail again."

"Join me, together we can end this pointless debate, we can rule the galaxy as father and son." (Sorry Future Anakin quote- top ones relate to it though....)

Yeah, you´re right, this line´s excellent! Nice touch to the future Dark Lord!

And I like Hayden as an actor, this scene with him telling Padme what he´s done is great.
And I like Anakin doing this without guys like yoda telling him "hate leads to the Dark Side" and stuff. Just being evil while not being under the Jedi´s controll.
