Phx Official Phoenix FanForce Meeting #3!!!

here we go again!
we have decided to make the second saturday of every month the date for the official phoenix fanforce meetings,
to be held at the mesa atomic comics, beginning with:


Saturday, April 13th
3:00pm


as before, food and drink is a "pot-luck" so please contribute!

1. Whatever food happens to be available for a meal, especially when offered to a guest: Having arrived unannounced for supper, we had to take potluck.

2. A meal at which each member brings food that is then shared by all. Also called potluck supper.

hmm...now I'm hungry.

 

Bring on the food! And, yes, this time we'll have ice, paper cups and plates.

And, yes, as of now, it looks as though the Mesa Atomic Comics will be our location for meetings. It's the biggest of the AC stores, and is the one most capable of hosting our group.

I realize this is only the third meeting, and the last one was odd since some of us wore rennaisance festival costumery, but do most of us normally show up in costume for these meetings?

Or, perhaps a more appropriate question, do most of you plan to wear costumes to the meetings?

My vote is yes. Mainly this is because I am a former high school theatre geek (yes, I am a Thespian), who doesn't get to look completely strange to normal people nearly often enough.

 

Costumes are ALWAYS welcome! At the debut party, we had quite a few people in costume and it was fun! So, I have absolutely no problem with you coming all decked out. ^.^ In fact, it might be a fun way for us to "test run" our costumes for the line.

well, all the line-up volunteers need to be at this meeting too. i will have the rest of the badges made, as well as flyers to pass out!

 

Hey about those flyers sideshow, I think there are a lot of people that I work with, that might be interested in our group, and by using flyers that would be the best way to reach them, do you think I could have some?

 

sure, i'm going to make about 800 to 1000, so i'm sure i'll have enough!

Yes. Bring some ysalamiri steaks!

 

Hmm, no I don't think so. The butchers around here don't carry them and I am NOT going to go and deal with the live ones.

Lessee... do I need to call a catering service this time? Croissants and hors d'oeuvers all around, right? And some wine as well, I'd assume. Everyone remembers this is a black-tie event, right? Atomic Comics will have the store decked out with crystal chandeliers and ice-sculptures, so I hope everyone will dress for the occassion. Full-dress uniform for the imperials, please.

Actually, do you want me to bring another sandwich, or will snack food and desserts be sufficient this time? Either way, I'm flexible.

to the volunteers who don't have there badges yet; they will be ready by the meeting so everyone will have one on the 13th!
