old '90s Star Wars Screensaver

Hi,

I'm relatively new to the forum but I had to post because I have a question that has been driving me crazy. Does anyone remember an old star wars screensaver from the 90's where Vader and Kenobi fought across your desktop and Jawa's would steal your icons?

If anyone has any info. on where i could buy it/download it please let me know.

There was also a nice Screensaver for PC's some years ago. You might be able to find it on ebay. However, I can't remember if it was only on small floppies.

 

r2dee2, he's talking about the SW Screen Entertainment Pack, I haven't thought about that program in years. It was out right as I was starting college, but never was able to get my hands on it.

 

I loved that program! Vader vs. Kenobi was my screen saver for years.

 

Rebel_spook is that one different than the one I have pictured? If so, do you have a picture? I know I remember that dueling scene and it was quite fun, but just not sure "where"

 

Nope, that's the box I remember. It wasn't a rectangular box, it was shaped kinda like this: <[]>

If I remember correctly it retailed for around $40 or so when it first came out. I wonder if it would work on XP, if I can find it.

 

Yeah, the box in the picture has just been flattened.

I should look for my copy and put it on an old computer for fun.

 

Thank you Rebel_spook The box in the pic I posted is indeed as you say, not rectangular but with triangulated sides. It was first released in 1994 and is for Windows 3.1, according to
this site I found.

I also found this set HERE

I BELIEVE it was also released in the
Lucas Arts Archives I set on CD.

 

Oh yeah, I remember that thing. I had the space battles one on for hours at a time. It's not the same after Win95 came out. The Jawas have nothing to steal now
