Orb of power

In the final celebration/parade scene, amidala gives the gungan king a giant glowing orb. 1) what is it? 2) does any one have a picture of it? thank you.

 

I don't know exactly what it is,but I imagine it is something carefully crafted from some a precious material.

I always called it a piece orb.

 

I like to think it's the same idea as the blueballs that the Gungans fought in battle with.

But seriously, I don't know the significance of the object...and I wonder, would the Gungans? I mean, it's not like the Gungans and the people of Naboo socialized much.

 

It's called the Globe of Peace(or something like that).

It was a gift from the queen to Boss Nass signifying the unity of the gungans and naboo.

 

Yeah the Globe of Peace seems pretty familiar. I never liked the idea at all. Is there some kind of backstory to it?

It's some kind of "Peace Orb", probably baised on the blue ball things they used in the battle.

 

Yeah the orb contains that plasma energy that both the Naboo and the gungans use for thier livelihoods.

In fact, it's stated in some EU that this was the stuff they traded offworld through the TF.

So, when the TF stops all shipping, that's what they bring to a halt: plasma energy exports.

Would've been nice to hear that in the film.

Wouldn't it have been neat if that energy had been tied to the production of the Kaminoan clones for AOTC?

Maybe it would be like a massive growth hormone when used in precise quantities on living beings?

I think we need to see a film about these orbs.
ATTACK OF THE KILLER NON-PEACE ORBS...all with plasmic sensation....
