Yes, but GASP isn't it based on a cartoon/comic?

The original movie is based completely on comic. The famed cartoon television series came about as a result of Burton's 1st batman film.

Cartoon network has already grossly violated the Cartoon exclusive deal with that crap with Cartoon Fridays. I remember when it was hosted by real honest to goodness cartoons who are less three dimensional than the adult hosts they have doing Cartoon Fridays.

Well, they play Family Guy. I'd hardly call that a cartoon, more like animated family sitcom.

At least Family Guy is animated, though...

Yeah, try to play semantic games all you want, it's still a cartoon. Toy Soldiers, a tad understandable. Who Framed Roger Rabbit, totally understandable. Batman? Not at all.

Bah. Right when they got Eva too.

Trell, listen to the song I linked too. It's sub par, but the subject matter is good. And he references anime in every one of his songs.

That song is correct on all counts. The only thing worthwhile is Adult Swim and it feels like a totally different network.

    I don't get it...

Is Cartoon Network producing their very own live-action Batman movie, or are they airing the Burton film?

Okay, so what's the big deal?

They used to air Batman Beyond, which was a spin-off of the Batman animated series, which was a spin of the Burton film anyway...

The big deal is it isn't a cartoon.

I like to see the horrible edits they use for language. I was a tad surprised when they played Roger Rabbit, because there is some language in it, but then again, TNT is playing Saving Private Ryan, unedited.

What!? This is an outrage! I'm going to write to my Congressman! Well, I would if I lived in the United States! And I'd also eat a hot dog! And maybe go and watch a baseball game! I would also possibly enjoy a nice piece of apple pie! But gosh dernit, I would make the Cartoon Network thing my first priority! Right before I rang that "At the tone, the time will be" thing I see in all those Hollywood movies!

I'm so mad, I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore!

This is not as sacreligous as ToonDisney phasing out classic Disney in the Afternoon cartoons for a bunch of random shows never attached to Disney.
