I don't remember very well, I read that book about 10 years ago, but that is where the creature Waru came from. It was some weird experiment that I think the Empire was doing.

Otherspace is not in The Crystal Star.

It is in the two WEG RPG supplements known as Otherspace and Otherspace II : Invasion, both long out of print but occasionally found in comic and gaming stores for reasonable prices. Also try eBay.

It is an alternate dimension from realspace and hyperspace where the race known as the Charon destroy everything in their path.

jaya02: Thats why I'm anti-time travel/otherdimenscions in Star Wars. It jsut doesn't fit, and seems so out of place. Theres so much to come up with in the GFFA alone, why do they have to bring in dumb plot twists like that?

I don't know the details... I think it's in the Droids cartoons, but I'm not sure... You could ask TalonCard, I'm almost sure he knows about that.

Maybe someone else can explain what Infinities is in full-depth, but it's basically alternate universe stories of SWs. Anything with an Infinities label on it is not a part of the official timeline of Star Wars.

But for the record I don't think Droids comics are Infinities. IIRC, only the Star Wars: Tales comics and the ANH: Infinities comics are considered Infinities right now. Though I could be wrong. :)

"Thats why I'm anti-time travel/otherdimenscions in Star Wars"

So you're anti-hyperspace? Hyperspace is actually another dimension from realspace isn't it? and its one of the most fundamental aspects of star wars.

Time-travel is present in two sources, I believe.

    - Tales from Mos Eisley - "Hegg's Tale", a story told by an old man. Whether he was making it up or not is unknown.

    - A crossover comic between Droids and Ewoks by Marvel/Star. Threepio and Artoo get caught in some kind of wormhole and meet the Ewoks, which is supposedly why they hail Threepio as their golden god in ROTJ. :p

The only stories that lucasfilm considers infinities can be found here, marked in blue, plus 1 other tales comic in gamer #4.

In infinities something like 2 more time travel stories can be seen in the "Devilworlds" comics, but those are considered Appocryphal.

In HNN, there is a story about a guy that suffered from Time Dilation. He was from another time period but because of something going wrong with his jump drive, he never jumped into hyperspace but did jump to lightspeed, therefore he never aged, while everything outside his ship continued on. When his ship finally came out of lightspeed, he reappeared during the AOTC era. That idea is actually based on a real life hypothesis, from einstein as I remember

most time-travel ideas are useally all based on real-life hypothesis from einstein or other scientists.
