    Hello all!

I didn't see a thread for this on the pages, or in the thread index. If there is one, feel free to remove this thread.

I had a question about this outfit:
    http://padawansguide.com/photos/caroline2.jpg
Yes, that is a exhibit picture, but I thought it was a good reference.

EDIT: I found some pictures, and the action figure here:
    http://padawansguide.com/amidala/battle/battle_action2.jpg
is correct, there is ribbon down the overskirt. What a cool design! End Edit

I am almost finished with a doll version of this. The only thing left is to finish sewing it together and put the yellow/gold ribbon on it. Therin lies my problem: They haven't taken many good pictures of this dress as far as exhibits. Usually they are too dark and hard to see, so I am asking those who have seen this outfit, where are the yellow ribbons situated?

I know that there is ribbon on the pant legs, and a center horizontal stripe on the 'skirt' near the bottom, as shown in the exhibit pic I posted. HOWEVER There is some ribbon over the shoulders, and I can't seem to see where it ends... or if it goes all the way down the OUTSIDE of the skirt. Has anyone seen/made this costume? I am so unsure on ribbon placement here! The action figure has it all the way down the skirt, but I can't see from exhibit pictures if it is there or not!!

Any help would be SOOOOOOO appreciated. Thank you all in advance!
    Keep the faith

there is one that runs over from the each side of the front of the shoulder and down the side on the back and all the way down to the bottom of the side of the "skirt"

you can kinda see how i did mine here http://www.members.shaw.ca/mbailey4345/episode1battleoutfit.html the sleeve kinda hides part of it though

Hey, Liann, BEAUTIFUL costume!!! I think that's the best one I have seen so far.

Yeah, I finally found a couple of pictures that showed that side seam, so I then used the action figure as a guide to see how the ribbon connected to the skirt. Thank you, though, it is always great to have a second opinion!!

keep the faith and God bless!

If you wade through the Handmaiden Costumes thread, there's a lot of good information about the maroon battle outfit. It's just surrounded by discussion of other handmaiden outfits.
