Padme costume group website

i am writing for my girlfriend.. she has a MSN website she recently just created dedicated to padme and her costumes.. since she loves fashion.. if anyone like to look or join .. its free..

It's always nice to have more costume sites dedicated to Padme I do have one comment about the site though - I notice that almost all the photos link directly to the Padawan's Guide. You might want to make a note of that in your links (or your friend's links), since Maggie has done a lot of work to put her site together. (Perhaps saying under each photo something like - 'for information on tips for constructing this costume please visit the Padawan's Guide'). Just nice to give credit where credit is due. New people could click those links and think that her site is part of your site.

Maybe you can pass this onto your friend.

I don't mind folks linking to me - but Kathy's right - it does look like my pages are part of your site. And you don't mention my site anywhere, even in your links section. That's not really fair to me since I spend a lot of time on my site.

In addition to that, you're linking directly to images from my site (and from Ferd's). Which means that when someone goes to your page and the images load, they are using up bandwidth that we are paying for. Which isn't really cool. With my new webhost, I have more bandwidth than I used to, so I honestly don't mind folks doing the occasional "hotlink" in the forums - but your site consists entirely of direct links to images on my site.

In the case of the Ep. III images, a few of those are fan art images (taking the place of Hyperspace images) that I had permission to post - but you don't even credit the artist.

You are more than welcome to download Lucasfilm owned images to your own webspace. I have no special claim to them. But I would appreciate if you didn't link directly to my images.

I can change all my image names, and that will break your links to them. But that would be a pain in the butt for me to do.

well in response .. gabby the one is creating the website.. does not know when she saves a picture from a site it links to the website. she is doing this website for fun...because she loves fashion and loves padmes costume. she is replacing every picture with a picture that she has saved from her computer so it wont link to the websites. as in where credit is due.. we do have a web page dedicated to Ferds website. so she can get credit . as the other credit for artists and etc... she is planing on creating a dedication page .. to credit the artists, websites..and everyone else. the website is less then a week old.. and still a working progress.and she works on it in her limited time. so you should take that in consideration. since this was brought up in public and not PM i am responding in public as well. we apoligize for linking to your website.. we wont make that mistake again. and to ensure you .. she will be given credit to everyone.
