Padme's hair in her second and third scenes

I was rewatching my ATOC DVD last night and noticed that Padme's hair is kind of curly and fuzzy in Chancellor Palpaltine's office and when she meets Anakin again. You see the fuzz around the brim of the basket thing and in it too.
Any thoughts on this?

Looks like she just didn't do her hair in about a good week ro so....

 

As you can see, Senator Amidala is looking STUNNING with a 1980's cimpled look. Can't wait to see the leg warmers and repulsor lift areobic outfit to match! Yum yum!

 

Maybe somebody paid her to be Crazy her day Girl.

 

I noticed this too. I believe the hair was well fake as was most of her more elaborate hair-dos. It appears to be attached to the metal fixture.

 

I figured that it was probably a wig gone wrong, but why didn't any of the hairdressers notice?
Why didn't Natalie say anything about it?
You're right-- she does look like someone from the 80s!

 

He couldn`t concentrate that much on her hair because of that assination attempt and all that nasty stuff that happens to her in Padmé´s everyday life.

The only kind of braids that could possibly have made her hair that curly would have been dreadlocks-- the kind she was wearing would have only made it kinky.

The "Palpatine's office" hairstlyle is an afro, to go with the quasi-African tribal headpiece she is wearing in this scene.

Almost undoubtedly it is a hairpiece, and not Natalie's own hair.

 

Probably means 'crimpled'.

Sorry DamonD, didn't mean it to sound like I was picking on you personally - just venting about Internet postings in general! The irony that verification is so close by... but so rarely used.

 

I think that crimped is somewhere in between curly and kinky... don't think that that really discribes her hair there.
