First off, hello! I'm new in these parts, but I've been a lurker for some time. Jennifer (Ferd...ferdalump.com) made Padme's Pastel Lake Gown for me to wear to this year's Celebration III. It's beautiful, of course, and I'm sure if you know anything about her, her work is unbelievable. Anyway, the convention is in about a month and I'm pretty much all ready. I have the dress, the necklace (which she made and included with the dress), silver shoes, and several hair pieces she made and included. I really need some help with this part. Does anyone know what to do with the hair? I got about a foot of hair cut off to donate last year so it's much shorter now, about shoulder length currently. The pieces she included are long purple poofy things which you can see in pictures from the film, but I have no idea how to use them, and especially now that I have shorter hair. Any ideas? I really need to be able to do this myself as there are several days of the convention and I cannot go to the hair dresser every day... Thanks everyone!!!

I'd like to redirect this to either the thread iycis linked to below for hair tips, or the Rainbow Dress thread since it's costume specific. Thanks!

I bought a long hairpiece/ponytail clip on when I had short hair and word the dress....if you put it uo high on a bun, you can style tha fake pony and include your hairpieces. I bought my piece new on ebay- much cheaper than at hair stores....good luck!!!!
It IS a beautiful and Ferd is a master.....
