Padme's Wardrobe...help please

First off I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, but I can't seem to think of where it fits.

There is/was a site called "www.padmeswardrobe.com" with TONS of pics of Padme (& wardrobe, naturally) and other various SW pics.

I tried to go on to copy all the pics (I'm compiling all my SW pics on one folder), but it says "Address Not Found". Does this mean that the site is down permanently, all the pics gone? Anyone have any details, if it's offline temporarily or something, or if it moved? Thank you very much.

 

Well, I don't know about being temporarily offline or moved, but the site does seem rather gone. Basically, you've got a few options open to you to recover those pictures, similar pictures, or even better ones.

First, the good folks in costuming and props have created and have pictures of just about anything you could imagine, if you're just looking for wardrobe stuff.

Second, speaking of wardrobe stuff, The Padawan's Guide is a similar site that I saw linked from Padme's Wardrobe on the Wayback Machine.

And lastly, speaking of that dern Wayback Machine, some of those pictures are still there.

I hopped on the Wayback Machine and just started clicking around. Some of the pictures are archived there, and some aren't, but it's something.

Thanks a billion! It is sure better than nothing...I can think of a few other sites I'll "wayback".

I'm reading that mini chat thing on the lower left of the site...apparently something about having copywrighted pics on the site and possibly getting shut down. I guess time will tell.
