Palpatine's Sith Clasp

For a long time I've been wondering if Palpatine's Sith Clasp, the one he wears with his regular dark robes, has any significance.

When I was young and watched ROTJ, I used to think that his clasp looked like a snake.

Seeing the replica of the clasp proved me wrong?

Anyone know why it's shaped all bumpy and why he wears it?

 

Why not ask bout his sith underwear ?

Just cause he wears it doesnt mean it has significance.

Lucas prolly thought it looked good.

 

Palpatine was wearing his lucky teddy bear boxers when fighting Yoda in ROTS which is why he wasn't beat by Yoda. It gave hima special Sith Force Shield.

As for the clasp, I think Palpy's daddy gave it to him.

it probably belonged to darth bane, and was passed from master to apprentice when the aprentice became a master. palpatine probably pulled it off plaugus when he killed him.

Think about it. In some 5,000 years of male Jedi being seduced by the Sith, there's only been about three chicks.
