    Greetings.

I was hoping that there would be folks who know of a pattern for a basic jumpsuit. It is essential that I find one, because six of the costumes I plan to make in the future and one that I'm working on right now, are of a jumpsuit base.

Does anyone know of a good pattern or company that have a basic jumpsuit/coveralls pattern?

    I would say go to:

    thedentedhelmet.com

go to the cargo hold, post a thread saying you needa jumpsuit, then go to the propbuilding section, post a thread for a pattern for jumpsuits, there might even be a category that includes the jumpsuit(s)

    - it's a boba fett/ jango fett site so you may need to modify the patterns a bit.

What do you need in a jumpsuit pattern, first? That would help make it easier to suggest something.

Just a basic pattern...like a car mechanic's suit. If I have a basic pattern that I can work from, then I can make the necessary modifications.

Can't see the dented helmet until after New Years. But I've got it bookmarked. Thanks.

    go to www.thegreenpepper.com

They sell patterns for hiking and outdoors stuff. They have a pattern for a jumpsuit that's pretty good. I'm using it on my Bossk costume.

    It's adult pattern number 142

You may find one at good will, or you could go to a car mechanics place, and maybe order one from them, I'm sure they have a cataloge for that suff, just modify the suits.

If it weren't out of print, I'd suggest Simplicity 8745, the "Grease" pattern. Very basic jumpsuit, one set of pockets, easy to put together & to adapt.

The Green Pepper pattern has been suggested alot at TDH, so that's probably going to be your best bet.
