I moved from Canada to Florida during the summer of '99, and one of the worst discoveries I stumbled upon was that I couldn't find Philsbury Pizza Pops down here.
I've seen other Philsbury products, but no Pizza Pops or Pizza Minis. :(

Instead, all FL (or at least Orlando) has are Hot Pockets.
So, what I'm wondering is whether or not it's just FL that doesn't have Pizza Pops, or is the entire country deprived of their cheesey greatness?

Boba: My mom and brother went back to visit Canada for two weeks last month. They brought back a huge box of Pizza Pops with them. :D

But I've only eaten two. They're too precious to waste... [face_plain]

    To precious to eat. [face_plain]

    Yes, what are Pizza Pops?

But if they're anything like I think they are, try Bagel Bites instead.

I think I've seen Bagle Bites before, but they're a lot smaller than Pizza Pops.

Pizza Pops are, apparently, Canada's version of Hot Pockets...only "They've got more stuff!" :D ;)

They're like a quarter of a pie, but filled with pizza contents (different fillings depending on the box, just like Hot Pockets) and you warm 'em up in the microwave, just like a Hot Pocket.

They're made by Pillsbury(sp?), the same company that brought us the Dough Boy.

What I don't understand is...well, isn't Pillsbury an American company? If so, then why don't they distribute Pizza Pops to America?

Probably because we already have Hot Pockets. They sound a lot alike, so they're prolly saving money by not producing them here or something. *shrug*

    Edit: And I should point out that when I first read the thread title, I thought of a pizza popsicle of some sort. 8-}

You guys don't know what you're missing! And Pillsbury Pizza Minis are even better than Pizza Pops! And America lacks those, too! :_|

    EDIT:

Removed something in case it was misinterpreted as an offensive remark. :)

Sounds yummy...maybe I'll write Pillsbury a letter and ask 'em why they don't have them in USA, or at least not Louisiana or Missippi, for these are the only states I've lived in long enough to tell wether or not they sell them. :p *naive little 11-year-old*

Keep your strange foods to yourself. :p We already have at least 3,000 forms of mini pizzas here in the US.

None of the US mini pizzas I've had taste as good as Pillsbury's Pizza Minis. And they're more expensive that the mentioned Canadian versions. :(

    I feel so depressed. :( :_|

Oh! It's because I'm listening to a sad song... [face_blush]

Here's what you do when you feel the craving for Pizza...

    Go to your phone

    Dial your local pizza parlor(not Dominos(unless it's after 11pm))

    Order a Grandma pizza

    Order a chicken roll.

Relax for 30 min, then eat.

Gino's down the block beats the hell out of anything the doughboy can make.

Gotta love NY, a good, cheap pizza parlor on every block. There's not a Pizza Hut, Little Caesar's or any other garbage pizza near my house. Nothing beats Gino's of Mama Theresa's.

Pizza Pops are good, but they can't beat McCain Pizza Pockets.
