What happened to all of our multiple thousands of posts!??!!! I worked so hard for some of that humor...

 

So I spent the morning at the DMV only to discover that I am unable to registrate/change title ownership of my car in the State of Colorado because I do not have the original--or certified copy of--the security agreement with the bank.

All we did (the bank and I) was to fax copies of the document(s) to me, have me sign them and fax them back. This suited the bank's needs, but means that there are no signed original copies and that they will probably be required to certify copies of those faxed copies.

So, it'll be like this:
Originals
Copies faxed to me (and signed)
Copies faxed to the bank (and filed)
Copies certified and mailed to me of the completed third-hand copies.

Or they'll send the originals to me, have me sign them again, transfer the title, register the car, and send those back to the bank to be filed in the place of the copies that I signed and faxed.

 

Guess that means next time you should slow down on that black ice there, huh?

Oh, and because I love ya so much, DH, Theed is the capitol city of Naboo. Thread is a nickname for a specific topic page on a message board. Or a thin bit of fabric used for sewing.

 

I think it should announce its presence in advance of me reaching its position.

Now that I talked to the bank, they can't send me the original original documents until I've paid off the loan. And they can't notarize copies without my signature. And they can't notarize copied documents that have copied signatures on them.

I guess... they're going to have to mail me the original carbon copies of the documents, have me sign them, send them back and notarize them and then send them back to me.

They washed out something upstairs of my office today. I've been dealing with the leakage and impending death due to electricution by not being in my office. I came back after 3 hours to find that while my office is fine (except for the water in the light fixture) the leak moved to the area of the lady I work with and found her bookshelf and soaked it. If it wasn't for the fact that it got the picture frame with all her grandkids in it, I wouldn't be worried...I just hope she doesn't blame me.

 

I had to close my window & re-open a new one.

 

mine's working fine. it's just the 2 trash cans on my desk that are annoying me now....

I thought he worked days now????

 

He's working in the afternoon... Should be home around 8ish, I think

I thought he switched to mornings, but I guess not

 

I had to enter in my password several times, then pm and complain, and as soon as I sent the pm, I could change it.

 

oh sorry all. 12:30 to 9 tues through friday 830 to 5pm saturday.
