Solo Poll: Favourite Solo Character

Let’s get this thread started! I just saw the film and have fallen in love with all of the new characters and the returning characters all over again. Who was your favourite?

 

Alden was able to make me think he is Han Solo. This is enough to get a vote from me, it was something I considered impossible, but he nailed it.

Solid acting overall. Qi'ra chemistry with Han may not be the greatest one, but this makes Han + Leia more special, so it is a bonus for me.

 

From what I’ve seen, it’s also almost perfectly real. Meeting an old flame after many years can be super awkward. Either you’ve changed a lot, or they’ve changed a lot, or you’ve both changed a lot, and that can make for a chemistry-less interaction. Seems perfect. And yeah, it sets things up for how special Leia is in Han’s life. That’s where the spark is.

 

Yeah, and Qi'ra said to Han that during that time, she was forced to do things that would make him look at her differently.

She never actually tells him what she did, but we can imagine what it is, based off her forced relationship/slavery relationship with Dryden Vos.

They were all good, especially Han, Chewie and Lando.

But my vote goes to Tobias. Charismatic, wise, entertaining...just a memorable performance in a SW film. Well done.

Alden really suprised me with Han. I would be happy to see him back as Han in the future.

 

Han, no contest.

 

Glover was great as Lando... but I think I have to give it to Alden as Han. I expected Donald to be fantastic. I didn't expect to love Alden the way I did. He nailed it!

 

Chewie was awesome in this movie, lots of action.

Alden better get another film as because of this!

 

Chewie was my favorite character in this SW movie. Never imagined I would type that sentence, but I did, and I mean it. He was great.

 

Han, but that's easy.

So I'll say Dryden Vos. Absolutely brilliant villain, with a gangster's sense of faux-concern for his guests. Bettany's a smart actor.

 

Lando, easily. He stole every scene he was in.

 

I could have voted for all those options, and others, if able.

 

Han Solo is my favorite overall. L3 is my favorite new character. Now I'm off to write my Lando and L3 fanfic!

Before I saw it so many reviews said that Glover as Lando is what steals the spotlight. After seeing I don't understand why. He was good in it but not anymore than the rest of them. It didn't make me want a Lando movie. Han and Chewie were the best and they deserve the spotlight. Beckett would be a close third.

 

Qi'ra!

 

Qi’ra. For most of the movie, she was the most pointless character. She was this Crimson Dawn bad-ass, but spent most of her time being nothing more than the love interest. But the ending with Maul ... now I want to know how that story ends.

 

Chewie. By a country mile. I love that big Kashyykian moof milker.

 

I dunno but how the OP spelled favorite is really triggering me..
