"Poodoo" is Huttese for "Fodder". And observe:

    fod·der n.
Feed for livestock, especially coarsely chopped hay or straw.

Whoever started getting the impresion that it means "poo" or "crap" or anything along those lines is quite wrong. Fodder is generally used in a derogatory way, sure, because it's a lowly sort of thing to be bantha food. But it doesn't mean "poo". Never has, never will.

Actually, "poodoo" in Huttese has two meanings- "fodder" and, as a slang term, "poop" or the curse word meaning "poop", which isn't appropriate to post here. :p

Anyways, Burtt and the gang opted to go with the less..."offensive" description when making the captions for the movie. So really it does mean fodder....and it does mean poop. ;) :) :p

Ken, stop acting like Bib :p

As it is translated in the films, it means fodder. My anger stems from the fact that people don't know what 'fodder' means!

    solobones...tony perkins... [face_laugh] :p

    That's great... :p

And yes, some people assume that, from the fact that "poodoo" is used in the movies a lot as the slang term of "poop", that "fodder" means poop as well.

    Which, of course, it doesn't. ;) :)

Clearly the JC is the best part of Halloween ;)

See I brought this up because I was talking with a few JCers today and neither of them knew what fodder actually meant. Star Wars is ruining the English language :_|

I'm sorry, but when someone has their fancy schmancy racing pod explode there's no way they're going to exclaim, "Feed for livestock!". So it definitely does have a dual meaning.
