Those were WB shows. Disney just rebroadcast them.

That was on ABC's TGIF block.

Also not an original Disney Channel show.

I'm pretty sure that was originally on the syndicated Disney Afternoon block of cartoons. I remember that from when I was little. (EDIT: Apparently it was an NBC program.)


My family didn't have cable until I was about 9 or 10, so I never really watched Disney Channel.

Your version of "old disney" shows are the great-great grand children of what I'd consider "old disney" shows.

So Weird was so cool though, surprised even now that Disney would go so dark!

Now when I'm skipping through it looks like its all brainless slapstick humor.

When I was a kid, it was all Dumbo's Circus, Ozzie & Harriet, Parent Trap reunion movies and music video segments setting oldies to Mickey Mouse cartoons.

Both shows had actors in animal suits, even for Dumbo! I almost wonder these shows were ever responsible for creating the generation of furries we see today?
