Have any of you done a prank call on anyone?
Well I did this afternoon as my parents were off for hours running errands.

So, talking to my friend, she would choose a number from the book and I would dial it, and then I use three way, so we both heard the ringing, heck, I'm sure you all know what three way is.

I was afraid if they had caller i.d., they would catch me, but my friend told me if I dialed (*) *star* 67 and then the number, it blocks my number.

Childish and if my parents found out, they would ground me, but I was laughing so hard.
I haven't done that since I was 6 years old.

Any way to get rid of this quickly? I am tempted to do it again after school on a pay phone. -_-;; I don't want to make this a habit.

I have had some bad experiences with prank callers...on time I got a prank call and they came and started to knock on my windows and tried to get in.

I never went far enough to bug their houses. So maybe prank calls are overrated, I just hadn't done it in a long time. I guess once I get used to it, it *is* overrated.

Someone called me and asked in my refrigerator was running. It went something like this.

    Me: Hello
    Him: Is your refrigirator running?
    Me: You're kidding me right?
Him: No, Is your refrigirator running?
Me: Okay, look. That's way too old. Everyone knows that one.
    Him: Really?
    Me: Yea!
    Him: Oh.
Me: Don't be so upset, hear look. Call a bowling alley and ask if they have 8 pound balls.
    Him: Why?
Me: It's a prank! If they say yes, say "How do you walk!?"
    Him: Huh?
    Me: How. Do. You. Walk?!
    Him: I don't get it.
    Me: Is your refrigerator running?
    Him: (confused) Yea.
    Me: (click)

Doesn't using *67 cost something like 30 cents every time you use it?

So, your parents won't find out about it until they get their phone bill.

I'll simply tell them I was calling my friends, since I am on the phone 24/7 with my friends. *sneaky*

    EDIT: Read the comment wrong.

I wasn't *67ing my friends, they know my number. I just did it on the three prank calls I did, didn't want them to call me back.

My parents like us to keep our number secret, it's not listed in the phone book, but I disobeyed them. :p

Ah, the fun of three way calling, and the junior high drama that it can cause.

Try this fun recipe for junior high drama.

    Ingredients:

    You
    Person A
    Person B
    Three way calling.

    Directions:

You and Person A find someone you both know(Person B). You call Person A. Then, you tell them to be silent, while you call Person B on three way. You strike up a conversation with Person B, and begin to talk bad about Person A, which will result in Person B saying bad things about Person A, but of course they don't know Person A is listening.

Bake for 15 minutes, and you have enough pointless drama to serve a junior highschool.

I read that in a magazine once. I couldn't believe that girls do that all the time. AT least that's what the mag. said. I don't know about guys but I know I was never involved in it. That's just mean.
