This picture is raw captured photoage. All I did was capture it with Premiere.

This pic is from the same raw photoage but the only diference is I edited the file for length and resaved the clip. Now all the capture settings are the same as the render settings. Meaning both are DV1 files. Same resolution. Same quality. Why now is the interlacing showing up? I tried using the "deinterlace" setting (clip>frame hold>deinterlace)but it still looks like crap. I tried an antialsis filter. And also a "reduce interlace flicker" filter with a blur of 2 and it all helps but its still not as good as the orginal. Also why did the color change? I just noticed that. :(

    Any ideas? Thanks.

    A) Exactly *how* did you do this.

I imported the clip. Edited it for length so that I had the photage I wanted and not any "extra" then exported. This is so when I import it into AE I dont have to worry about excess file size. I dont want to do FX on portions of clips that I wont use.

But I think I found the problem. When I export the clip I didnt look in the "special processing" In there is a deinterlace button and some other features that took care of the problem. (export movie>settings>Special Processing>Modify) Then the following settings. Gamma: 1.0, Noise reduction: Gaussian Blur, Better Resize: on, Deinterlace: On, Cropping: off.
