What if there were jedi's around today,in the year of 2005?There clothing and speech would have evolved to fit that of modern day people,but there wisdom and use of power would remain the same.Only a number of jedi's exist,for most people have forgotten there power over time.The jedi's are hardly ever mentioned because they come and go quietly.There is a place where a certain number of young jedi are taught.It is like the jedi temple for kids of today.To hide the temples identity,it goes by the name of Ben elementary or Ben High.Here students learn the usual things taught at schools,as well as train to become masters of the force.Just as well as there is a jedi school, there is is also a sith school,called vader High.The students at Vader High are always setting up plots to hurt the jedi students as well as the school.The sith students are known for going over board when it came to fights.Though the jedi students are taught to control there urge to fight the sith,will they be able to resist the burning urge?

So this is kinda like a regular elementry/high school,exept they are training to be jedis and sith's along with thier studies.Since they are living in the world of today the students can have dorms where they share rooms with other students.The school is big like a college campus.And the characters can ave things like t.vs and Mp3 playes.The characters are human so dont make up an alien character.

OOC:This sounds pretty cool, kinda gives me an X-men feeling like Xaviers school against the brotherhood or something, I might join.

I do have a question however, will the jedi and sith schools have frequent battles or recieve "training missions" and the like?

 

I also have a question...can Jedi go around doing superhero stuff on the streets, and sith go around doing bad stuff...

Yes.Actually,the sith and jedi were nuetral for certain time.Both were actually having student lightsaber duel competitions(with the lightsabers on low so no one would get hurt) like students have basketball games.Then a duel got out of hand and a sith student killed a jedi student,which jedi witnessess claimed to be no accident.The jedi and sith were banned from dueling each other,but students still do it.

Yeah,I like X-men.Hey maybe we I should make it a school 4 special kids including: jedi's and good mutants and sith and bad mutants.What do you think?

He dosen;t carry all those weapons with him at once, btw, he carries the knife, pistol, and at least one lightsaber at all times, and can carry either the Sa80a2 or the Crossbow as well, i also won't be here over the weekend, i have a 25 mile hike to do.

Yeah...and Its preasent day. YOu can't run around with a gun in plain sight (note that mine is concealed) Come on people...what are you going to do with that in school, shoot a teacher...very un-Jedi like....

 

Yes,they can go around doing hero stuff and vice versa for the sith.And Darth Vaders cousin,you are right,they cannot shoot people out in the open,but,they can do illegal this like smuggle things(Would be a master student thing and is done by sith)Or maybe some of the sith teen characters can be in thier own gang.This takes place in NY so there are gangs and shoot-outs.Thats where the jedi's come in.They help figure out what happened and why?Some police are allies with the jedi and call for help when needed.

We need some characters who will play as teachers/masters.And the sith need more characters.Im glad you guys like the idea of this RPG.If you have any suggestions,Pm and I will be happy to listen.

Its ok,you can be a sith and a jedi if that isnt too much work.I think everyone should be able to have up to five characters.
