Well, this is not about gaming really. It's the OTHER multimedia capabilities of PSP.

Sony will soon be converting the uber-popular PlayStation Portable (PSP) into a location-free TV viewing device with DVR capabilities. "Soon [you will] be able to deploy the device's built-in WiFi, to watch video from home entertainment terminals, anytime, anywhere in the world," stated Sony's CEO Howard Stringer at Ceatec. Stringer further went on to say in his keynote that consumers can expect to see a high capacity (aka multi-gigabyte) MemoryStick designed for PSP that will be able to synchronize with a DVR.

Sony knows how to Innovate, u gotta give them that credit!

Half of my products are made by Sony, but strangely NO Ps2. I may get PS3.

I already have a portable TV, but this is different, NEW. It will have DVR capability as well.

    Good for Sony!

Hmm this throws a kink into my media player search.

I may just end up with the PSP.

Is "wireless" TV going to be priced at the same rates as most wireless public internet nodes usually are, i.e. absurdly high amounts?
