Hello everybody. Now, please forgive me if this has been discussed before, but I'm old and stupid so that's my excuse, but is it just me, or does R2's beeps sound different in Return of the Jedi to the other six films? I mean, I am probably completely wrong, but has anybody else noticed that? I do have a vague memory of reading on the Behind the Magic CD (anybody remember that? It was awesome!) where they said they recorded brand new noises for R2 for Return of the Jedi, but I've never seen that anywhere else, so can somebody handsome, clever and a brilliant harp player let me know? It doesn't have to be a harp, piano works too.
The only new beeps of his I've noticed are when he bumps into the Gamorrean guard in the entrance tunnel to Jabba's palace. The rest of the movie are recycled sounds from ANH and ESB.
