Question About Reselling (NOT Soliciting)

I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS FORM DOES NOT ALLOW ADVERTISING/SELLING/BUYING/TRADING!

Anyways, I was out of the Star Wars scene for about a year now and I decided to check out eBay. Some of the prices on these new (and old) figures are really low, I wonder how these guys make profit!

I have a worthy collection of figures, and since I've been losing interest (only in collecting figures, not the series ), I decided I want to get rid of some of them.

But those prices on eBay are far less than what I paid for them in the day (mostly TPM/AOTC). Do you guys know a good place to deal or sell these figures for reasonable prices (I'd be selling about 10 figures)?

For those of you who live in a city with a fanforce chapter, there is another way you can buy/sell/trade here on TFN/Fanforce. There is a private collecting forum here where fanforce members are allowed to buy/sell/trade, but in order to get access to that board, you need to be a member of a fanforce chapter and have your Chapter Rep vouch for you.

 

Mara_Jade_Fan: funny that you say that because the nearest fanforce chapter to me is yours.. San Diego Star Wars Society.

Although I don't think I have the time or means (two driving hours away) to become a member =\. But thanks for the information.

 

Yeah, the forum Linda's talking about is really cool.

I've gotten hooked up with some really cool figures through it (like some Preview Clonies from Sebulba-X ).

Any general members of a fanforce chapter, have to request that their Chapter Reps send their RSA a PM vouching for them, and requesting they get access to the private forum.

Unless it is one of the rare TPM/AOTC figures, ufortunetely it is very difficult to break even.

I lost interest in collecting action figures about a year ago and have cleared out most of my collection for far less than I paid. Then again most figures were loose, but either way.
