Hello everybody im new here. or sumthing and i have a question about the Star Wars novels Dark Force rising by Timothy Zann. When Luke is in the jedi archive in the beginning he finds out sum informathon about the sith/jedi master C'boath. And then the jedi archive says that C'boath was Senator Palpatines personal advisor. Wasent Anakin Palpatines personal advisor?
Now i havent read the whole book yet so maybe in the end it says that it was fake information or sumthing like that. But if it is you can tell me that coz im okey with spoilers for that book.

Anakin was Chancellor Palpatine's "advisor". There were ten years (or so) between episodes I and II - C'Baoth was probably somewhere in there.

btw, the book is called Dark Force Rising.

Anakin was Palpatine's bodyguard. Also it was when he was already Chancellor.

Anakin was a kid when Palpatine was a senator.

Anakin was on Tatooine while Palpy was a senator (well, except for those last few days.) And after that he was too young to be attached to the Chancellor, though he was Palpy's friend.

Yeah, C'boath falls somewhere in the timespan between TPM and AOTC, before the Outbound Flight Project.

Actually, since it says he was *Senator* Palpatine's advisor, wouldn't that place his role as advisor sometime *before* TPM?

It would indeed. C'baoth was attached a few years before the events of TPM. He was already detached from that position by the time of Cloak of Deception, which leads directly into The Phantom Menace. He did, however, continue to have influence (or be influenced by, as the case may be) Palpatine, which led to Outbound Flight actually happening. And Palps being the manipulator he was, I'm guessing C'baoth had a lot less to do with that than he thought he did, though I'm also guessing that Zahn will mix it all up a bit here in a few months with Outbound Flight.
