Qui-Gon's Age in TPM.

What is it? GL wanted someone who was in his sixties originally, but Liam Neeson is obviously not sixty.

I'm guessing between 47-55.

Any guesses or knowledge?

Yeha, I think around early 50's is right.

 

Qui-Gon Jinn is supposed to be 65 in TPM. They obviously couldn't get someone that old to do the stuntwork, so they got someone younger and tried to make him look older.

 

Given the high level of technology, people in the GFFA would probably live much longer so therefor would look younger than they actually are.

 

According to GL's screenplay, Qui-Gon is supposed to be 60. The light side keeps him from looking too old, but there's no denying that he's past his prime.

 

i can't remember where i read it, but qui-gon's age was supposed to be very close to the actor's age (liam neeson).

 

I also thought he was 60.
