Sounds like a plan.

At least a couple of things will be on the agenda for the meeting.One,the Chapter Rep's position is still available if anyone is interested in taking that role on a long term basis.Also,I'd like to get the group's thoughts on the frequency of the R2 meetings.Given that we are in a relaunching/rebuilding phase,we should probably continue to have the meetings on a monthly basis for at least the next several months,but after that it'll be up to you guys.Are 12 meetings a year too many?Not enough?The exact right amount?We'll start talking about this and get some ideas for our options going forward.

All that and plenty of SW-related fun.

 

Well I'm going to miss another meeting it seems. I'll be hunting up north that weekend so I won't be attending again. Try again in November.

Another enjoyable evening spent talking all things SW and whatever else comes along.We had a new person this month.John,it was good to meet you and welcome to R2-Detroit.Hope you can make it out to more of the meetings.So far,the meetings have been running about 2 hours,which seems to work well for us at this point.No real business notes to pass along this month.Jeff (rocksoldier)is going to the Detroit Fanfare convention next week so we brainstormed a flyer design that he is going to print up and take along to distribute for us.Thanks for doing that,Jeff.

We do not have a date planned for the November meeting yet,but as soon as we have that,we'll get that posted and as always,everyone is welcome to attend.
