RE: Anakin Skywalker vs. Anakin Solo

Give Solo a few more years before you bring it on him. I mean, he's strong and stuff, but think of all the stuff he can learn by teh time he's 30. Then pit him against skywalker.

Ok you have a 16 year old boy against the greatest jedi of all time. Anakin would wipe the floor with the wannabe and then he would take Jaina down in a dogfight. Skywalker has the highest midi count ever in a living creature. He is able to beat the best fighters in the Empire martial arts style. Solo stands know chance. It would be fairer if it was all the Solo kids vs Anakin.

The Skywalkers are the strongest in the Force and I don't care what Anakin Solo's done, he's still just a 16 year old kid, pitch him against Anakin and any age asides from TPM and you've got fried Solo.

 

What about NJO Anakin vs. Approaching Storm Anakin? And how do we know that Solo's midicount isn't higher than Skywalkers. Unless I'm missing something they NJO characters have never even mentioned midis.

His uncle is one of the greatest Jedi of all time, and his siblings are both Jedi in training. No contest.

Besides, don't just laud on about his Mom and his Uncle...you forget his dad...the Man who killed Boba Fett (I know I know) without even knowing it.

The point is that Anakin's midi count is off the charts no jedi has a count that high. How has Solo been with the force more than Anakin. Anakin was using the force at the age of nine to do you things that no other human could do. Anakin grew up in the jedi temple and being the chosen one must have had lots of training. Solo just looks good compared to Vong warriors. There is only one person ever who could have beat Anakin and that was Palpatine and even then it would have been a fight which might have ended in both there deaths.

 

Anakin Solo is just Anakin Skywalker reincarnated.

Solo has been trained in the Force since he was an infant. Skywalker didn't start his training until he was 9.

I've seen several people saying that Anakin is the reincarnated Anakin. It'd be interesting if something like that happened...

 

Truth be told, Fetus Anakin Skywalker had a hand in truely defeating Palpatine.

 

Anakin Solo, so even if skywalker has a high medi count are we even sure that Luke knows what medi-chlorians are? Nope and Solo has been in training for more time than Skywalker has if they were both 16

 

Solo would win this one, simply because of all his training and experience.
He's gone against Vong Warriors and pretty much destroys a Vong Super Weapon or gizmo of some kind in every book now...Skywalker hadn't even fought any Sith Lord at that age.

 

I think in any scenario that Grandpa would win, basically because he has so much destructive dark side aggression to unleash. Although Anakin is good - damn good -- I think the dark side factor would be too much for him to handle.

 

Excuse me, I didn't mean greatest, I meant most powerful by what I said. Anakin Skywalker is the most powerful Jedi ever. We know Solo is powerful and any ordinary Jedi would get whipped by him, but Skywalker is an exception because he is the Chosen One and the son of the Force. In Ep2 Obi-Wan had 35 years of experience as a Jedi and is one of the best warriors in the Order, but Skywalker is still better than him even after only ten years of training. Skywalker is like a super Jedi. He gets things done in 10 years that most Jedi never get done in their entire life.

Anakin Skywalker would defeat Anakin Solo. Sometimes it doesn't matter how much experience you have or how much you've been under someone's wing.

I would expect this to be a very good duel. But Skywalker has his grandchild beaten soundly.

A) 16 year Solo has been prepared for a life as a Jedi since even before he was born (see Dark Empire). More than 16 years. If we're going to be fair here, Anakin Skywalker has had a mere 7 years of training. Plus, from what we've seen of young Skywalker in the recent books, SKywalker has a whole load of trouble keeping his anger under control...he's killed, what, 2 or 3 villains so far? Solo has better control of his emotions.

Actually, although, yes, Anakin is his padawan, he wasn't allowed to take him on missions until he was 12 and a half, so shave off 3 years of that 7 year figure. He's been training to be a Jedi in action for 3.5 years.

A lot. Yoda has been training Jedi for 800 years. He gave Luke one of the most effective crash courses in Jedi training ever. Sure, he only training with Yoda for a month or so, but he still had about 4 years of using what he'd been taught to turn himself into a full fledged Jedi Knight. Plus, Luke's does have 25,000 years of Jedi knowledge. Ever heard of a little thing called the jedi holocron?

A) Nobody even knows what being the Chosen One means yet.
B) You doubt? Well, Luke tells Leia that the Force is strong in his family, his father has, he has it, and his sister has it. Perhaps the strength in the Force is hereditary? I think that's a given. Odds are very good that Luke and Leia, and their children, are just as powerful, if not more powerful, than Anakin.
C) There is another prophesy, at least in regards to Luke and Leia according to Dark Empire.

Yes, but the Jedi you refer to were saying no Jedi up to that point in history had that high a count. We know nothing about midichlorian counts after TPM, but im willing to bet that Luke and his grandchildren are just as powerful in the Force as Anakin Skywalker ever was.

Well, your memory fails you, if you'll remember, the novels portrated Anakin Solo as a prodigy child. I suggest you read up.
