RE: What did you think about the "ROTS" spoof on the Mtv movie awards?

For those who saw the Mtv Movie Awards, you may have seen a spoof about "ROTS" with funny man Jimmy Falon as Anakin. I found it pretty funny.

Anakin: We can put the babie's crib by the lava river. You know a tiki theme.
Padmea: Anakin your breaking my heart.
Anakin: We will have cup holders like these.

Anakin makes a cup holder shape with his hand and Padmea starts choking.

Anakin: Or maybe we would have the medium ones. Could you stop that gurgling, I can't think.
Obi: Let her go Anakin.
Anakin: Ops, I forgot to turn off the force.

Padmea falls down.

Anakin: Your wearing my bath robe and you got barbecue sauce on it.
Obi: You've done that your self
Anakin:I'm a clean person and besides I dodn't do barbecue.
Obi:You've turned to the Sith
Anakin: The Lith
Obi: The Sith
Anakin: The Lith. Man thats a horrible lisp you have. You might want to do something about that.
Obi: I'll do what I must.

Obi and Anakin pull out his lightsabers.

Anakin: I shall warn you I'm really good at backflips.

Anakin does a backflip and misses obi and lands staight into the lava.

Anakin: I overshot my backflip. I'm on fire.

 

it was pretty funyy

 

It was hilarious ... actually I was somewhat disappointed about the first half but when Jimmy saw Obi-Wan, thats when it became really funny

 

I really didn't like it(except for the barbecue sauce part), it was boring and I didn't laugh at all... but the Episode I one was hilarious, though...

 

Yes, I thought it was hilarious, especially when he says Obi-Wan go barbecue sause on his robe, and he says "You have done that yuorself!" great!

What Episode I one?

 

In 1999 the Mtv movie awards did an episode one spoof with that girl who played Fibi from "Friends". I don't remember much but I remember her making fun of Ki-Adi-Mundi's huge head.

 

Yes, the Episode 1 one with Lisa Kudrow as Anakin and Andy Dick as Ki-Adi-Mundi was much better.

The only funny lines in the Ep3 one was:

"I see you've gotten barbeque sauce on my bathrobe"
"You have done that yourself"

And:

"I must warn you, I'm very good at backflips"

The rest of it was disappointingly crap.

 

Other then the BBQ sauce part it was really weak.

 

I might have thought it was funny if Jimmy Falon wasn't there. I don't think he's funny at all.

 

I thought it was pretty good. Fallon getting a tan in the opening shot was great. I liked his rap so well I have it in my sig....for awhile.

 

Anyone know when its on UK Terestial?

I quite liked i actually, and I'm very fussy about SW spoofs. Similar sort of vein to the Matrix Reloaded one they did. Sweet

Heh, I liked it, by far though, my favorite part is when he just said something like:
"I ABSOLUTELY do not eat barbecue."
Just because if you've seen the movie, you instantly see "Only a Sith deals in absolutes" coming up after that, heh.

 

The matrix one was class! Wet-Willie, Mr Timberlake?
This one was quite funny. I think the 'You have done that yourself bit was the best.'

 

The Matrix Reloaded one was hilarious.

 

jimmy isnt that funny to me... sometimes.. this one was alright
but the lord of the rings spoof was the best spoof
with jack black and uhh sarah michelle gellar
