Have any of you ever thought about being a Cheerleader? One fun way to express your love of Star Wars is by wearing a Star Wars themed cheerleader costume! Hoorah!

There is now an official Rebel Cheerleader Squad at the Rebel Legion forums. And guess what, you do not have to be a Rebel Legion member with a Rebel Legion costume to sign up and order a uniform! Friends and family can get in on the fun. Anyone can sign up to the Rebel Legion forums and request to be a part of the Cheerleader group. We are in the planning stages for the design of the uniforms and voting on concepts. If we are lucky, we might be able to place an order for a run of uniforms by the end of December so we can have a group of Cheerleaders for Dragon*Con. We are even looking into options for having Male Rebel Cheerleaders (It's a true Male cheerleader uniform).

We don't make any profit off of these uniforms, we are ordering them from a cheerleader uniform company to our design specifications.

Request to be part of the Rebel Cheerleader Group Here: http://www.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14115

The Sith Cheeleaders are also taking sign-ups for a new run of uniforms. They are only two orders away from being able to submit the next run. They usually can only do one run per year, and when interest dwindles they will no longer be able to produce the uniforms. You don't have to be a 501st member to order a uniform. They are for all Star Wars fans. Their Yahoo Group is here: http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/sithcheerleaders/

The uniforms are a lot of fun at conventions and parties :)

Here are a few photos from Dragon*Con and San Diego Comic Con

The mere fact you're even considering this is mildly concerning Matty... :p

    Hey, Jessica.

I seem to be finding you popping up on different forums - first RL, then AOI, then GGG, and now here!

    Welcome (and happy belated b-day)!

    :D

Hi Matt. I'm just stocking you. [face_whistling] Just kidding. I just want to cover all the Star Wars places! Oh and I'm on the Imperial Officers one too! LOL

Thanks for the Happy Birthday! It was a great time at the Boy Scout camp! They all sang Happy Birthday to me too!

Right... [face_whistling] I sense the equivelant of an SNL skit coming up... [face_laugh] besides... I'm sure there are other ways to be surrounded by girls without being a male cheerleader. For example, a Jedi and Sith walk into a bar with FX sabers, this isn't the beginning of a joke it actually happened to Rob and I... lol. That was a fun night...

Yes, that is totally the idea. The two groups must meet at a convention. Problem is, many of us are members of both. We need to wear one of those half-n-half costumes (like the half bride half groom costumes).

I think I will stick with the one cheerleader costume I have. Part of the appeal was being a "bad" girl for awhile. Rebel Cheerleaders, bring it on.
